Dorothée and I hadn't taken one of our forest walks for a while, so we planned to go with Kristine and Michael after they served at church this morning. It was a crisp 50 degrees, but the skies were blue, very blue, and the horses were out. I love the view on the way to the forest. Does it look like Kentucky?
We brought a backpack with sandwiches, drinks, and blueberry muffins to eat when we got to the forest pond. As you can see, Kristine and Michael were more interested in skipping pebbles than eating. When we were duly frozen, we made our way back home again along the sunny horse pasture.
