Michael's Slumber Party!

Fourteen boys for 18 hours! I tried to cut down the numbers, but social Michael still wanted friends he's known since kindergarten and wanted to invite a couple friends he just met this year in his new class as well! Luckily Georg was also here to help with crowd control! Last year's birthday program was so successful, Michael wanted the same: birthday cake, dinner, big-screen movie (Georg brought his projector), chocolate fondu, overnight, then breakfast (over 30 freshly baked rolls). The boys laughed hard while watching Kevin Alone on the wall. They couldn't get enough of the chocolate fondu, a couple were just eating the chocolate pure in the end! As for gifts, Star Wars Lego models are out and books are in. Michael wished for books and more books and received some Asterix and Obelix books he'd been eyeing, the first volume of the popular series Warrior Cats, a few Three ??? mystery books, and a volume from the classic German series about Winnetou written by Karl May (which is why Germans seem to know so much about the American West). We hope Michael's year as an 11-year-old will be as good as his as a 10-year-old was.
