Yesterday we took our California relatives by train into Frankfurt to see the Christmas Market. We had fun riding the carousel, snacking on sweet popcorn, eating potato pancakes with fresh herb dip and chocolate-covered bananas, drinking some Glühwein, and posing for photos on the footbridge over the Main River. The younger children and the adults caught the train back to Eppstein when it started raining, but Nick and Patrick went shopping for clothes until nightfall.
