Nick's Graduation Ball

German high school students traditionally have a ball to celebrate their graduation. What a treat seeing all those handsome young men in suits and women in long gowns and fun sitting at banquet tables with parents we hadn't seen since Nick's 5th or 6th grade! 


The students put on superb musical and athletic performances for entertainment in between dances. Nick's sports teacher is a world champion in ballroom dancing, so the dance shows were particularly professional. The teacher and his wife gave us an amazing performance of their award-winning waltzes as well.


The last photo is of Nick with Bene, who played inline hockey with him for years.
